I love DIY (do-it-yourself- weddings). I love the homemade touch, like how everyone is involved in putting together the wedding. It’s more personal and intimate. Right away, I got a sense of who Tori & Jeremiah were by looking at them in old photos that were put up by their grandparents. I knew that this wedding meant not only a lot for the bride, but also the groom as I first met Jeremiah outside, placing the runner with his friends, and family. He was just as involved, if not more, than Tori was as far as getting everything ready. Their wedding took place at Jeremiah’s grandparents house and they were thrilled to host it. Tori & Jeremiah were a couple of high school sweethearts so their love grew awhile back. It was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony as the weather was temperate with a nice cool breeze and the sky was filled with dramatic puffy clouds. Their reception was held in the basement which was small but had just enough room to fit everyone. It was dim, but fortunately, my cameras are well equipped for such occasion. There were so many great moments that I was able to record because there was a lot of love in that house that day.
