Lori & Steve got married in a small park in Morrison and it was a beautiful spot for a ceremony. The only problem was the weather didn’t look great but the rain held off for the most part besides a light drizzle. Their reception was held at Lakewood Heritage Center which was a unique location that featured a pavilion and a couple of small abandoned storefronts that was part of downtown Lakewood many years ago. The highlight of the reception was the food trucks that the couple rented out which featured Sweet Cow ice cream. They let the bride and groom get inside their truck and I snagged a couple of photos. The pavilion was a challenging spot to take photos at since there were no lights except for a few street lamps outside of the tent area. I had to use off camera flash and trust my Fujifilm XT-2 camera to focus in the dark. I was pleased with the results and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to let me capture their special day.
