I was pretty excited to photograph this wedding because it was being held at a concert venue in Denver. Not only that, the band that was preforming was already a local favorite of mine so it was bound to be a great day. The challenge of shooting at this location was that it’s very dark inside so I knew I was going to have to add some extra light. I was up for the challenge as every hurdle is a chance to grow. The real fun began once the reception started. Woodshed Red sounded great and the crowd really loved them as well. It’s always great working when there’s a live band as it adds a different energy level vs. having a DJ. It was special evening and I was glad to be there to share in the celebration.
